Kincaid Seed Company has grown out of the idea of my father, Mac, and his friend Lyle Clements of providing a seed processing service not only for themselves but for other local farmers. They started in the mid 70's, with one Clipper mill, custom cleaning lespedeza seed for a handful of neighbors. Each having a eager son to help, they handed the custom lespedeza processing business to me and Lyle's son Todd. The mid 80's and early 90's provided a lot of seed and experience for Todd and I.
In the early 90's, with the encouragement of a couple local seed distributors, I started retailing various farm seeds. Striving to sell quality seed for economical prices, falling back on experiences with farming with my Grandfather and Father, and providing the seed or variety of seed that the customer needs has been our goal for our customers.
We pride ourselves on still being a small "mom and pop" seed company, but at the same time offering the largest selection of small seeds in the 4 state area!
